Sunshine and Moonlight has now joined together on a single Live CD. Once it has been booted up, just move to the top menù and browse Preferences --> to find the Sunshine or Moonlight themes switcher. You'll be able to switch from Sunshine to Moonlight Live! It will keep working even after the installation of the system on your machine. Enjoy :)
We cannot stand the costs to maintain a server right now, so we're always looking for someone able to host our isos. If you are interested in helping the OpenGEU Project, please offer us a mirror but be aware that OpenGEU needs an incredibly intense traffic, since it is becoming ever more popular. That's why if you offer us your net space you should be a very capable and fast server or the intense traffic of our iso will surely stomp you down. TuxFamily, for example, hosts some of our repos but it cannot host our iso anymore because it was collapsing under its weight.
So please help us either donating (so that we can buy for the project the hosting space we need) or hosting our isos. You can also help downloading OpenGEU from the TORRENT instead then from the direct link. Torrent costs nothing to be maintained. Just keep the torrent online after you complete the download, so that you can seed it. Thanks for the attention, now please enjoy OpenGEU!

OpenGEU is not only a new name for Geubuntu (see the legal page), with the new names here it comes a new iso. This is not an useless release: it is a very bug-fixed one and there is no known bug alive at the moment. Xfce4 Panel has been changed with fbpanel and now OpenGEU is faster than ever, using no xfce part at all except for Thunar but that’s just an application. If you already have Geubuntu installed, just apt-get install opengeu-desktop (see the wiki) to upgrade to OpenGEU. If you don’t have Geubuntu at all, then go on and download OpenGEU! Of course, if you intend to copy our distro and pass it to your friends, we ask you to use the OpenGEU iso and not the Geubuntu iso anymore. Thank you :)

Finally OpenGEU 8.04.1 Luna Crescente has been released and you can Download it now. This is a very important day for our team and project, this release is a milestone indeed. In the latest OpenGEU you’ll find a lot of new code, this is the first release in which we actually manage to develop something more complex than simple bash scripting, custom configurations and implementations :)
OpenGEU 8.04 has been released late compared to Ubuntu but nothing comes for nothing. In this time we developed a lot of new tools and enlightenment module, we just wanted to deliver you a complete OS, not something too much similar to a work in progress. We have a lot of new things in development already, naturally, but we’ll show you what’s yet to come in the next release, Quarto di Luna (which will be based on Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex)
